I Had a dream.

I Had a dream we burnt the trees.

The Deserts were vast,

All Color was gone.

I Had a dream we killed the spiders.

The flies were huge,

All food was gone.

I Had a dream we boiled the ocean.

The land was parched

All water was gone,.

I Had a dream we soaked the sky.

The air was black,

All clouds were gone.

I Had a dream we broke our world.

The fires raged,

All life was gone.

All this and more I dream.
All this and more I see.
All this and more will come to pass
If you don't listen to me.

This is truly great. Such a strong, powerful meaning - I especially liked the way you formatted it. The dramatic pauses, it gets open thinking. Awesome poem!!

This poem is powerful. I worry about how we're changing the environment too; if only more people did! I like your use of repetition in the poem itself; the "all this and..." at the end was pretty cool :)
