Waves of laziness surround me
As if drowning me
Telling me
NO
NO
And NO
At the instance, I am taken in by the spell
Imagining the sensation of a soft bed
With procrastination being my only answer

The spell is broken
As my teacher’s voice
Reminds me
Of where I belong
I return back
To the same table
With the pencil
Still in my hand
Writing this poem
Against all odds.
