Why do we hide in a mask? We live life like a masquerade.
So many faces covered in colors,
And so many personalities
Yet, so little time to know them all.
Why do we treat ourselves as if we lived in a masquerade parade…?
Probably because it’s easy to change faces.
It’s like washing off and trying new make-up.
Does eyeliner bring out the fierceness within us?
Does blush make us seem sweet?
Does lipstick make us bring attention to our lips and make us want to be heard? Or are we just simply complex?
That is with all types of
Make-up.
Does our generation generally promote change?
Or maybe we’re just hiding who we really are.
Are some really mean and aggressive? Maybe even nice and gentle?
Or maybe we’re just trying to fit in.
Why do we even continue to hide and wonder about change?
We all wear make-up.
