The sun-basked porch,
Free falling leaves left the aged tree,
Its creaking branches filled the air with music,
I took you hand and sat on the rocking chair,
Peace.

Hand in hand together we face the day,
Hand in hand we watch the sun go away,
Hand in hand we go to bed as one,
Hand in hand we rise,
Together.

Withered hands clasp each other,
Withered hands made us strong,
Withered hands stay connected forever,
Withered hands that stayed together for so long,
Love.

A promise set us up,
A vow that should never be broken,
But love blossoms in these two hearts,
And together they stay,
Connected.

With withered hands we stay in bed together,
With withered hands we die together,
With withered hands we wither away together,
With withered hands we face our heaven,
Finally.
