Once upon a time, everything seemed fine,
But now as life goes on, suffering comes like a creeping vine.
You one day find yourself sitting there, gazing into the rain,
Wondering if all that life gives is pain.

You go on with your life, day by day,
Knowing that there is another way.
Then one day you gave the last of your pitiful agonizing screams,
Then you attempted to shatter the very last of your dreams.

Then came the day you just shut down,
You began to live in your head and it spins round and round.
You lost all focus on everything and all of your dreams,
You think everything is gone, everything is done… or so it seems.

Now you can look back at a life drenched in pain and wonder is that how you want to remain?
Or will you stop the way you are focusing on the ugliness of life and stop looking into the rain.
Now, will you choose to look at the rainbows and the sunshine’s rays?
Because if you do I promise life will be filled with so many better days.

This doesn’t mean that you have to be perfect and never make mistakes,
Throughout life you can’t be perfect so to try to could cause some aches.
So instead focus on the happiness of life and don’t dwell on the past.
Because things for you are sure turning around really fast.

The pain in life will never really ever go away completely,
But if you remember the message of this poem life will go by much more sweetly.
Oh, and through all of this remember that no matter what Gods always by your side,
So be free, go conquer happiness, and don’t ever again try to hid
