Euphoria on the Brain MAG

The translucent sun eludes me
The forever shine of what was then
The opaque clouds hover about me
My thoughts transfixed on that time again

The callous winds cause a shiver
I can hardly bear to stand
As my longing frame withers
And how it yearns for the sands

A summer love
Governed by grace from above
The purpose of a life
A fixation of past strife

Controlled by an old flame
A burning fire no one can tame
However, my impatient affection
The heat will not singe our connection

The aforementioned entity I cannot elect
Coming is the potential for tranquil prospect
What is near shan't require care
A light of endowment for my heir.
