Chains of mind
Chains of heart
Of people chained
In cells of steel
And steel that binds your soul
 
Chains of mind
Are simple things
Of complex chains
Of daily life
That never go away
The imaginary chain
 
But no matter if you push or pull
The chains stay linked
Around your wrists
Around your mind
With a broken heart
And a twisted soul
 
Until you breath
And just
Let go
