Knots of Gold

The glint of his blue eyes reflected off the bus window, so I took a closer look.
I saw it. The root of that beam of gold.
It was something I only saw in the mirror, something I thought made me crazy.
But I realized, that sparkle enticed me, memorized me, it made me stop and think.
It made him beautiful, I guess that’s what it made me.
He caught me staring, so I blushed and turned away.
And think he saw it in me, because his eyes were stuck on me.
I laughed at our brevity and we stared at each other.
Into the depths of our beautiful wonders that were our entangled thoughts. Beautifully knotted.
