Mother Nature, I am sorry for what has happened to you.

Your clouds were clear white; your skies were deep blue.

You used to bring four seasons, so unique and pleasant.

I loved when they changed; it was my seasonal present.

Your sunshine in the day was so bright and light.

And you brought out the stars on a cool summer night.

Your winds were powerful when they would blow,

And your winters would bring some white fluffy snow.

Hail was rare, as well as sleet.

When they would come, just to watch was a treat.

Fog was there too, creeping up behind you.

Censoring distant objects, as the thickness grew.

But all that you did is not being done.

I see no skies, I see no sun.

Pollution is everywhere; even in the snow.

It seems you have left, so where did you go?

I know humans have made you weak and frail,

But please come back and let your work unveil.

I want to ride the skies, see the sun, and feel the breeze.

Oh Mother Nature come back, oh will you please?
