I am this
I am a child of locked doors
and whispered conversations on the phone
of creating profiles and deleting them then creating again
of millions of changed passwords
of eyes glued to the floor when I scurry across the living room
and boisterous voices when amongst my own
kids too afraid to be themselves
I'm blurred dreams of parties
filled with anger and pain and confusion
masked with the perfume of normalcy
in expensive clothes and perfect hair
of skinny waists
and starved souls
of innocence hiding my past
