I found God in a concert pit,
in continuing a message
and becoming nothing but sound.

I found God in my blue and orange hair,
standing out in the cold San Francisco spring.

I found God in a ballroom
4 hours away,
on a school night.

I found God in reaching for a hand
I never touched.
