It's a sad realization
when you come to know
fairy tales aren't true
No one is going to kiss you and
wake you up from the dead
That magical perfect picture
you have imprinted in your head of love
is incorrect
Your heart will break
over and over again
which will feel like the end of the world
Until one day you find that one
who accepts
your laugh
your beauty mark
your stretchmarks
your weight
your crooked teeth
you

I wrote this because you can never really love someone if you don't accept the person they are and what they look like. Looks aren't everything.
