behind closed doors

No one knows what happens behind closed doors.
The only place that ghosts can't see into,
As behind them lies four walls,
Four walls enclosing your screams.
The canvas of your imagination,
Or your nightmares.
The surface that your cries bounce off of,
Like there's no gravity.
For some,
Like me,
a place of safety,
where you can talk to the spirits that haunt you,
and carry on the ongoing series of your recurring horror dream,
no one knows what happens behind closed doors,
That's why I shut them.
