I’m afraid of disaster, a horrendous climax
I’m afraid of being torn, my heart ripped to the max.
I’m afraid of being used, I’m afraid of being abused,
I’m afraid of being alone, I’m afraid of being on my own.

I guess I’m afraid of what happens on TV.
It may sound weird but what if that happens to me?
The light flickers out and I sharply turn around,
Afraid that I will be forced to the ground.

Afraid to be kidnapped or maybe even worse,
Afraid of a horrible witches curse,
Afraid to be in a vehicle, or anything that goes fast,
I’m afraid of the future, even more than my past.

Maybe it’s becaus of things that happened before?
Or maybe I’m merely just insecure?
Whatever it is I guess I can be brave
In a world that’s wild, yet I’m still so afraid...
