I still love you

I gave you my compliments,
but you washed them down,
like the pills
you hide in your purse.

I made you a flower crown,
but you wore it on your neck,
like the noose
you hang in your closet.

I wrote you love letters,
but you burnt them to ashes,
like the blunt
you hold between your fingers.

I really tried to help,
but you cannot fix someone
who refuses to be fixed;
I’m sorry.

Beautiful! Keep writing. I love this  style. One of my friends was like this and you put it exactly the way it was. Thank you.
