Out of the shadows
comes the Lady in Black.
Face-
alabaster skin
pale lips
sea green eyes.
Hair-
shimmering a thousand different colors of brown
cascading down her back
like a waterfall.
She stands-
tall,
proud.
Her movements-
graceful,
like liquid.
Her dress-
made of shadows and stardust,
blacker than a sinner’s soul.
She is completely
visible
and invisible,
always there,
never quite there.

My friend wore a a black dress to school one day, and I was inspired.
