Why did you change?
Who have you become?
I don’t know you any more.
Finding yourself could be a chore.
We used to share secrets;
Now from me you keep
The ones that you know
Will make my heart weep.
Your family worries
About your eternity
You used to be the girl
Who always came to church
You would’ve never smoked
Or your friends wish to hurt.
The friends you’re with now
Are leading you down a path
That will soon destroy
The heart of gold you had.
Who have you become?
Why have you changed?
