A little girl was lonely
She had switched schools and switched lives
She was afraid of this strange new place
Would they like her?

Nervously the little girl entered 2nd Grade
She kept to herself,
Was shy,
Scared

Her teacher was gentle, kind, and made her laugh
She quickly came to love her new school
She met new people
Loving people, she felt welcome

This new girl was funny, nice, and loving

The two were perfect for each other

Seven years later, the two were still best friends
Laughing, crying together
Spending countless hours together
And tackling school together

But then a new girl came
She was in the same place that the little girl was in all those years ago
This girl immediately latched onto the best friend, other half, like a newborn puppy yearns for its Mother
