“If you are a dreamer come in
If you are a dreamer a wisher a liar
A hoper a pray-er a magic-bean-buyer
If youre a pretender com sit by my fire
For we have some flax golden tales to spin
Come in!
Come in!"
Shel Silverstein

Hey there traveling man
doing the best you can
I wish I could hold your hand
your sad eyes look over the land
can't you feel me here?
even though I am no longer near?
You walk so far away
will you ever sit and stay?
I know your weary when you start to sway
can I support you for the day?
the walls you've built seem so tall
how do you carry them yet never fall
I wish you'd set them down
Hun i'm here just look around
you'll never be alone
so when your ready come back home.

I wrote this for my dad after I lost him to drug use I still love him and wish he'd come back.

This is really good, I can feel the emotions tug and pull but never stutter or stop.
