There’s a pain in my chest
From the day that you left me
You wished me the best
And left me half empty
Left a hole in my aching heart
Where a piece of yours should fit
Never was mine from the start
But I put up with it
If you cut me open this instant
You’d find your name engraved in my soul
Because of your existence
My heart is not a whole
All the memories we shared
Every day we spent together
It was too much to bare
