Our Kind of Life

All dressed in boots and dusty chaps,
I gather the bridle, saddle, and snacks.
With the sun glinting through the trees with a flicker.
I am greeted by my horse,
With a sweet sounding nicker.
I gaze into his eyes as he comes up close,
I see the love, the gentle that shows.
Nestling his nose in the palm of my hand,
Together this is our home, our life, our land.
The sun is peeking up over the horizon,
I buckle up the saddle for an early morning ridin’
Like a queen on a throne, our love for each other shone.
I sat in the saddle, reins in my hands,
Me and my horse will explore these lands.
Together our hearts symphonized as one,
This is our kind of life. Our kind of fun.
