I Blame You
Its funny how when you think you know someone so well
they prove you wrong
when you wear your heart on your sleeve for them
and they tear it off with a laugh so cold
I’m screaming and aching at the thought of you
not with me
I’m reaching for you
but you’re not there
My memories
of who we were
are f a d i n g
and I blame you
I can’t remember the last time I felt human
the last time a love so strong
kept me alive and breathing
and I blame you
You lured me in with your soft husky voice
gorgeous black hair that swept over your left eye
oh your eyes
a blue so intense the late night sky would be jealous
and then…
you left
I don’t know how to trust anymore
or love
or….
hope….
