Why am I stuck in the middle?

This isn't my fight

You both make things so difficult
Blame the other for faults they can't control
Assuming this about someone
When I'm clearly telling what's right

I'm tired of hearing it
It's irritating and frustrating
And I can't stand it

But there's nothing I can do

It shouldn't be this complicated
If you care so much to keep bringing it up
Then it's obviously more important than you claim
