I stare at the sky
Waiting and wondering
when he'll see me again
When he'll breathe again

I stare at the pages
of my book unwritten
waiting and wondering
when I'll tell my story
when someone will take the time to read it

I look at the tree
waiting and wondering
how long will it take for it to grow high enough for me to climb up to him

I look at his tombstone
and I stop wondering
and I stop waiting

Because when I look up again
There is his face
Telling me
He'll always love me
and never leave me

But he wants me to be happy
without him physically by my side...

And I got up
left the flowers on the ground
