Society has closed its doors,
on every open mind.
Shut down and disregarded,
lost its reason to be kind.
The walls went up so quick,
there was no time to react.
The ignorance remained,
and common courtesy was lacked.
We live in a world where,
money’s more important than freedom.
The same world in which,
lust holds higher precedent to love.
A world in which a Princess,
rides off only with a Prince.
A world that I was born to,
and have been trapped in ever since.
