"sometimes in life when you get what you want. You end up missing what you left behind".

As darkness floods the sky,
My body retaliates letting out its sighs.
It knows the day is ending.
As my eyes wander, looking at the sky,
Watching its gradient
Seep into pale grays
To a solid black.
With litter glimmers of light in the distance,
The moon peeks its head out
From its slumber,
Eagerly waiting to relieve the sun.
The silver gleam shines down.
A miniscule reminder of the moon’s gentleness.
The moon never glared
It only seemed to gaze,
Flattering the earth with its beauty.
