The aliveness of a humming wire
Attached to a vacant soul
The sound of darkness
Draped over cold skin alone

The heart is satisfied
Only with it's cavernous desire
But desire is amongst the highest
Of loft, vast clouds
Out of sight and out of grasp

Still of the night, brilliance of stars
Transiently sheds the coat of desolation
That's been burdened upon golden light
For the glimmer of light in darkness
Bears hope for the lost soul

Vital signs remain absent
Desire drifts with the swift clouds
Drops flow with gravity's direction
As they roll off the weeping skeleton

The idea came to me when I saw a picture of a depressed skeleton. I'm trying to convey the emotions of someone that is dealing with depression.
