Mind vs. Heart
October 14, 2013
I used to dream
I used to fall in love
I used to smile, I even beamed
Now, with heart broken
Life torn apart
My head keeps spinning
You are all I can think about
My heart is still in pieces
You won’t put them back
The glue just doesn’t seem to hold anymore
A hammer in your hand,
You continue to break me
A bandage here, a bandage there
Nothing seems to get my mind off of you
My heart longs for you
My mind wants you destroyed
A battle rages inside me,
Heart vs. Mind
Who will win?
Only time will tell
