Tears

Just as the blade reaches the ground,
so do the tears that follow.
Just like a cry without a sound;
Just like a queen without a crown.
a feeling so empty,
as the cuts reach fifty.
A feeling so lost,
that was the cost.
The salt water leaves my eyes,
then a feeling telling me to rise.
Ignorance?
Or acceptance?
The tears dry up and
my fears are overcome.
