Courage: The voice within in you,
That challenges you,
To do right by those around you
Courage: The light in your heart,
That keeps hope alive,
In intimidating darkness.
When good conscience mingles with action,
Courage is born.
Courage is the sole hand extended to you,
When everyone else stands idly by.
It’s the will to move forward,
Knowing full well the obstacles you’ll face.
It’s the strength to have a voice,
And to share that voice with the world.
Courage is born from love and hope,
And the force that fathers change.
