Today he noticed me.

On the Third Floor while mine
was at the other campus. I

That I was rude. I asked why,
“Because you’re racist.”
I was shocked, “How?”
“Because you’re white and I’m not.”

“Actually I’m not white, I’m Irish.”
“That’s still white
Well I’m Hawaiian.”
“Oh that’s cool.”

“Yeah but a pretty girl like you
Would never like me.”
“Wanna bet?” I walked
Away and he smiled.

I can’t wait for fourth block.
I’m gonna see him again.
My friend is going to
Give him my phone number.

Maybe he would text
Me or call me.
Maybe tomorrow I will
Ask him to our Homecoming Dance.

But even if he says no,
