"Everyone has beauty not everyone sees it"

A kite flew over my head
the triangle was blue the string red
the child flying the kite ran into the arms
it made me worry I was alarmed
the child had a face it had not been worn
he was a figure a figure forlorn
a statue he may as might as well saw
what I was viewing would have been appauled
the string he had on his little boy wrist
would have been blown if not have missed
what was wrong with this little kite
it chilled me a score a terrible fright
he said sir run and fetch me a stick
hurry now I ran quick
I handed him the twig as he threw It in the air
I was shocked by total despair
I said why have you thrown the gift I put in your care
was it broken was I blistfully unaware
he said no sir the stick was thin
he never had a moment this would have been
I looked around at all the grass no trees no shrubs no a las
I said now tell me what you need such a hand I am here to help I am in fact a man
he said I am trying to reach heaven at last trying so hard and so fast
my mother she waites for me
hurry now quickly..
if I tie the sticks to the end of my string ill reach my mom
wont that be keen
I looked with shock but I was please to say
what was wrong with my stick
couldn't it be any other way
it twas thin like I said it would have broke in two
I want to get to my mother very soon
I don't want to wait for another stick to come along
but that stick was bad it was all wrong
the tears ran down his face as he wailed
I was stuck I couldn't bail.
I wanted to know if he could climb a tree we both could go together you and me
he said yes I can but why do you ask
I had my solution finally at last
we climbed and climbed until we saw the sun shine
I could call this heaven all mine
I took his kite and tied it tough I had to make sure enough was enough I said dear old boy were as high was the moon
we shall retain here she will be here soon
he seemed so sad when she didn't show
but id share a secret he needed to know
your mom will always be in the air you breathe
she loves the kite
my son believe
