The Mind Far Gone

Alone
The darkness slowly surrounds
Clouding my thoughts
At which may not ever be found.
My heart grows cold
As the memories never seem to fade
I can't break from depressions hold
I just can't escape from this everlasting shade
I've lost the privilege to feel
Growing more distant day by day
The mental wounds just won't heal
As my happiness fades away
So I sit silently
With a dark secret held inside
I will not fight it
Ill just hide...
