I once saw them
bury a man
all alone, out beneath the willow.
When I asked, "Why?"
they told me,
"you can't go to Heaven
if you kill yourself."
And for a long time
i wondered why he
didn't just wait
to go to a better place.
It's only now
that i understand-
even Hell can't be worse
than here.
