There is this thought
Brushing at the edge of my mind
I can almost grasp it
Almost see it
It is of a better world
A life without so much pain
This life is full of happiness
Surrounded by love
I can see it now
I see a young woman
Standing on a lit stage
Full of pride and beauty
And a crowd is applauding
Now there is a woman
There are children running around
She smiles and laughs
Playing along happily
With life bright in her eyes
Now there is an old woman
Face creased with wisdom
Her eyes are not so bright
Yet she is content
For she has
Made a difference
Put her mark on the world
She lived a full life
One filled with happiness
She is not afraid to die
For she has done everything
She fulfilled all her wishes
Her hopes have been filled
A smile
Is still upon her face
This is it
This is my dream
To live in them
Have a life full of dreams
Then it can be
A beautiful one
