I believed all your lies,
Now forced to hear my cries,
My laughter constantly denies,
But you are my demise.
Taught me how to love,
Taught me how to hate,
Taught me how to trick myself
Into thinking I was great.
Was it really love?
Or just infatuation?
Did you truly sense it too,
Or was it merely my imagination?
Your poisonous words,
Molded into a dart,
Launched by pushing ‘Send’
Pierced my swelling heart.
