I try not to overthink love
to question and dissect every little piece
until it unravels into nothingness

I try not to think
about the girls before me
and how you joked and kissed and loved them

I try to remind myself
that you’re mine
and you love me

I try not to think that one day
a girl will be wondering about me
and if you love her as much as you did me

and I know it’s not fair
and I'm sorry

Wow, this is so sad. I can relate to it. Because I overthink things too. Too much. And paranioa isn't a friend of mine. I feel you with this poem. You're a talented writer.
