What's this deal about deities?
We worship them because they created us
But did we have any say in it?
Why would we praise someone for doing something
they wanted to do?
I don't know about you, but I would NEVER
want someone to control my "destiny"
or tell me what morals to follow.
I've been told by some of my friends
that religion gives you values.
I'm an atheist! I have values!
I have no problem if you need a god's help,
but don't tell me that I do too.
Your beliefs don't bother me,
it's the fact that mine bother you.
All I ask is that you tell your god
to stay out of my life.

I'll stay out of yours because
I run my life; I am my own god.
