You have been there for me since I was young,
You were my best friend when I had none.
You are the song that was never sung,
You found me when I was alone.
When you leave, you will never leave.
When you’re gone, you will never be gone.
When you turn gray, you will always be black.
When you’re old, you will always be young.
Honesty, Integrity, and Loyalty
Those are your finest qualities.
Though you never left my side
You are Truly a man’s best friend.
They say you are only a dog.
But to me, they will remain forever wrong.
