This is a different deck,
different from all the rest
with special card like no other.

It easy to lose it harder to win,
but for me it a game
that have already been decide
who will win or lose.

This Deck is call
The Deck of Love it is played by many,
but only a few can survive this dangerous game.

First it may be sweet,
but soon it may
turn bitter.

Second it will tell you to come closer,
but you taking a chance if you do
what it said it may devour you into darkness or
cover you with the sweet dark thick color red: love.

Each person have their cards
before and after each player
no one can change their cards,
or have any more cards they already had in their hands.

Unless the person changes themselves; even during the game
and the card will magically transform into another card
before their very own eyes.

Each person have to bet with there heart,
and play with their soul in order for them to play
this dangerous game The Deck of Love.

And in this game there only one rule you must follow,
and that is you mustn't fall in love
until the game is over.

And if this rule isn’t follow you will lose,
not the game itself, but you will lose your heart,
and may not ever fallen in love again.

And I should know for I was that person
who broke that rule,
and lucky I got away with it.

But for some not so lucky
those people who broke this rule mostly die,
because you can live without a heart can you?

I remember the day when I almost lost my
when I played him the master mind,
which he call himself,
but his real name is Tony.

As we begin to play
he had 8 cards in his hands
and I only had 2 card in mine.

They were the joker,
and the miserable card 8:
spades.

When I saw the different
are numbers of card we had
I soon began thinking
he not the one for me.

Until he lay down a card
that made my own heart
beat.

It was a ace of heart
from that first act I think
that when I broken the rule of the game,
and didn't even know.

It was my turn to go next
didn't know what to play
the joker, or the miserable card 8.

I close my eyes
and shuffle the two card
as fast as I can and pick the card
without knowing what it is lay it down.
Slowly open my eyes
and saw the miserable card 8 at play
now it was his turn.

He look at me and smile gentle toward me
and I look at him unemotional,
but had a strange feeling inside
that I couldn't express.

For a while he finally lay down his card
it was a diamonds card 2 and for some reason
my heart beat again without knowing why,
but know it was the number 2 and 8.

28 I said for some reason
under my breath as I stare
at the two cards.

And with a guess I made
I thought it was destined that
those two card play for us.

And with that thought
I broke the rule the second time,
but instead of a heartbeat
I felt the burning sensation.

Now it was my turn to play
all I had was one card left
I don't have no choice,
but to lay it down.

Which immediately I would
if I haven't seen a card that
was facedown on his right.

I don't know why,
but something about that card
I didn't like.

In a game like this
secret are revealed one way,
or another, for him it is written on a card
that is facedown.

So what I did was play my joker facedown as well
and so I get other turn and make him without knowing
reavel his secret he try to hide in the dark coner.

As I made my move
he look surprised,
and nearly shock
at what I done.

He look at me again,
but a little different this time,
and I felt that something had change
not only him but this game and me as well.

He pull out a card and lay it face up
it was the king of clubs,
but the card had change,
and become the king of spades.

I look at that card for a long time
for it was the first time I seen
an opponents card suddenly
change before my eyes.

He soon began to look
at the card he just layed,
and it change back
to the king of clubs.

I was shock with the transformation of this card,
but even more shock when the card change again back
to the king of spades when he stop looking at the card
he had layed.

It was like the card was send me a massage
about him and I think I knew what it was what out knowing at the time,
but that card change me, because a card appear
at my hand it was the Queen of diamonds.

Good poem. Nice imagery, nice comparisons, good message, but the grammar was sometimes a little off, and the poems a bit long, but otherwise, good job. :D 4/5
