I look from this door
That is ajar
I see the one
The one I seek
I would approach
If not so meek
I would love to say
"You're my fate,
I would like to take you
On a date"
But here I sit
Upon this stool
Hoping he'll look
At this unseen jewel

I was inspired to write this because my huge crush was my best friend yet he didn't see me as a girlfriend more like a sister because I feel as if I was hidden from him.
