I won't waste your time
saying that things will get better
the way that everyone else does.
What I will do
is remind you of sailors
because once they get their sea legs
they are steady
even when the boat is rocking.

I completely agree with 100%. I don't understand why some people can't be honest when times are tough and not promise that thing'll get better. Sometimes they won't. All we can do is hold on. Very thought-provoking poem that derserves the Editors' Choice it got.
