I never altered my steps,
as your eyes had never inclined.
Faithless.
You.
You are not distant
as your absence here now.
Your formality, fingers, limbs,
and your blinding steps.
The shadow so sharply keen.
Your edges so defined.
One faith,
too distant.


The author's comments:
In class we were given a combination of 43 words to make in to our own poem, and this is what those 43 words meant to me.
