Seemingly alone.
I can't even see the people around me
I'm in a group of people, but I feel ALONE.
I've built a wall.
It runs around my heart.
It's there because I know what it's like to be hurt,
No matter the source of pain.
It's easier to keep someone at arms length,
Than let them in only for them to hurt you.
Some people will never understand why I'm the way I am.
But I keep this wall up until I find someone i know I can trust,
No ifs,ands, or buts.
If I don't trust you then see ya,
