When you said forever,
You were lying, weren’t you?
Those three words…
Nothing more than dirt.
I was sincere,
Honest til the end
Loyal as I could be.
What, in return did you give back to me?
A kiss
Not even on the lips.
I offered, every day,
To go completely out of my own way,
To see you.
But what did you decide to say?
“Don’t come."
“I don’t want you to be there."
And if that’s the case, I don’t wanna be there for any of it.
Count me out of your life,
Cause nothing but meaningless words and memories remain
Between you and I.
