Can you see the fire burning
Why do you look away?

It burns bright
It always has

You know that it would stop
If it had attention paid

Why do you look away?

In the end you'll roll in the ashes
Sick with the stench

You'll pay for your sin

Because the fire will relight
And the cycle will repeat.

This was written after fighting with my sister. We after fight and I find that writing down my anger and confusion helps me to think clearly. I would love to know how this reads and if there is something that would make it better.
