Trampled underfoot
Is a small seed
And while this seed
Is in a dark place
And cannot find
The sun
This seed does
Have the strength
To grow
And someday this weed
Will burgeon forth
As the most
Beautiful flower
Of them all

This poem is about hope, and how even if someone is going through a hard or "dark" time, they will be able to blossom and overcome their struggles.
