Enchanted

My name cascades off your lips,
the air shivers at the sound
Your voice conducts a melody to which
the five little letters dance around.

I swear I hear the smile
contained within the breath of air
that graciously carries forth my name
from lover's lip to lover's ear.

The word chimes like a church bell
and whirls my stomach to butterflies
and makes the angels pause their symphony,
distracting my fickle heart from keeping time

And after the word marries my ear
and floats my soul towards the moon,
it resonates within my memories,
angels and heart commence a new tune.
