Becoming Nothing

Be smaller
start with my belly
pummel it down
shed my skin
leave only a trail of perfume
be tiny
cut my hair,
my fingernails
curl my body tightly
deflate it unceremoniously
let me fit into the dusty spaces,
float away
be nothing
