I Give Up

There is no more sensational emotion
Than the one that in your heart blazes up
As you realize you’re ready to go
The picture unfolds in your mind
Crystal, clear, perfectly visual
My mom’s eyes closing in white and opening in red
My sisters clamping themselves in tears to her body
Their boulder
The misty afternoon light would swave around them, the black crowd and my grave
I would stand on the height and watch them
Then I would wish for my family to cry no more
Because this wouldnt be a day of sorrow
Nor a day of regret
But the day I in joy of absurdity and submission to chemichal’s chains
Would set my mind free and let it flood with light
